In Songs of My Life gatherings, our goal is to hear honest testimonies and share ours, sing favorite songs and remember the love in the world, take the hand of our neighbor and feel the peace and understanding of our fellowship. This is a “we” fellowship, it is through our shared experience and our ability to connect with others and the world around us that we have found joy and freedom.

Songs of My Life is a movement founded by Todd Thompson in 2017, when a church in Northfield asked him to lead a “recovery” service. This initial attempt evolved over the next two years into the spiritual gatherings we have now. Amber Chavie helped with the format of the gatherings, the name and the first logo. Mike Billington and Rob Graber were the “band” for the first five years (and currently). Bruce Jensen and Sonja Huehn have also helped with their musicianship in these early years. 2022 is the fifth year of gatherings and this year we will be meeting in two churches and one school building.
