Trip to Guatemala – day 2

Today was an easy day for driving.  I only had to make it to St. Louis from Fort Madison, Iowa.  It was cloudy and then rainy but the driving was easy.  There is still a lot of snow in St. Louis and it was cold damp and about 35 degrees.  Missouri had a lot of the lime stone formations along the road.

Here is where I must say adios to Biscuit as he will be staying in St. Louis for a while.  I had originally planned to take him all the way to Guatemala but there was too much red tape to finish to import him into Mexico and then Guatemala.   So Fred has a bird named Rainbow and agreed to take him.  Here is Biscuit (and Fred).

I love these brick houses they have in St. Louis.  My friend lives near Washington University this picture is on Waterman St.

I know some of you are saying “Hey, how do we know he is really in St. Louis?”  Well I quickly snapped this pic in the morning on my way out of town to prove it.  🙂

I’m not sure what the laws are on snapping pictures and driving?
