I had a dream last night…

In the dream, I was with an old friend of mine. She was about to do something I did not agree with. So, I followed her and found where she was. She was in a house that I knew; not in real life but in the dream world. I knew my way around. I was standing at the door trying to decide if I should go in and confront her. That is when I woke up.

My question is, should I contact this friend today.  I have trouble with things I want to do and things I should do. The old recovery phrase comes to mind “unless it would injure them or others”. How to unravel this conundrum is a mystery for me. I use things like:

• What is best for everybody?
• Can I take myself out of the equation, if this wasn’t someone I was close to, would I take the action?
• Write about it and see what solutions occur to you (hence this blog)

Thinking about it now, it would be nice if we could contact people in the dream world directly. Have that discussion we want/need but not in the harsh real world, in the dream world.

Anyway, just some thoughts for today.
