Last week I told a joke about ducks that a high school student had relayed to me. Our group had fun with it.
Why do ducks have feathers? – To cover their butt quack!
Telling a good joke is an art. I’m constantly trying to get better at it. I thought I would share a couple of my favority “dad jokes”.
Yesterday I saw an ad that said, “Radio for sale, $1, volume stuck on full.” I thought, “I can’t turn that down”.
Two hats are talking one says, “You stay here, I’m going to go on ahead.”
Telling (or trying to tell) a joke shows you want to connect with people, that you’re not taking yourself to seriously and maybe even you and your group can laugh. All in all a pretty good goal I think.
Peace,
Todd
